The Flying Bug
Be warned: once you take control of an aeroplane or helicopter and realise the freedom of the skies you may well be bitten by the flying bug! Flying stirs the passion like no other thrill. So if, as a result of redeeming your flying voucher or gift voucher, you suddenly find yourself wanting to fly 737's or Airbus A380's, you just happen to have come to the right place.
First step
The first milestone for any pilot is to fly solo. This can be achieved in as many hours as your confidence, competence and Flying Instructor allows you. It varies enormously. Cabair offer a UNIQUE Zero to Solo course design to take you from nothing to flying solo.
The Full PPL
The complete Private Pilot's Licence, or PPL, is the first licence you will obtain in your quest to become a commercial pilot. You need fly 45 hours minimum and pass both a set of seven ground exams plus a final practical skills test at the end. Many students achieve this by their 17th birthday!

Funding your PPL
Cabair Flying Schools have several unique ways to help you pay for your training. Most students use a Pay-as-you-Go method where you simply pay as and when you fly, which for most is fine. At Cabair we have found ways to make this easier to do, and can even reduce the cost of your flying.
PPL BUILDER
Build your PPL in 5 easy stages buy buying 'Blocks' of flying. On completion of the fifth block you can gain £1,000 reward flying credit.
